The Han river in Seoul has historically been a site of genocide, a contested military boundary, and the country's most infamous suicide hotspot. Seongsoo, a 40-year-old man who lost his vision to glaucoma in his early twenties, visits the Han over four days to investigate an unsolved disappearance case, a journey through which an invisible river of sorrow emerges.
